Good Day good people.
Hope you’re all well? Some really fun events this last couple of weeks.
I went to the lovely Halsway Manor to join in the fun with my mates Banter and their workshop weekend. Then on to Bristol to meet up with old bandmates Cathy Lesurf and Dave Whetstone for rehearsals for the Ashley Hutchings bash in Birmingham later this week. Close to a sellout now.

Next up was the usual guesting with Feast of Fiddles in Exeter. Always a pleasure. Then two brilliant solo gigs this last weekend in Barnoldswick and Maltby. Both very enjoyable. Thanks Nick and Pete and James.
Two Trio shows coming up now after Ashleys gig. Saturday in Bridport and Sunday in Portsmouth. Check the dates page.
Over and out.
Updates, updates. Gradually getting the hang of this new system. The first ‘Fire and Dust ‘ show at Bush Hall was a great success. We all had a wonderful time. Keep an eye open for more of these shows and the album which is one of the best things I’ve been involved in for a long time.
Solo shows are now gathering momentum. Just had two sell outs, Basingstoke and Wessex acoustic. We also have a good crowd for Ashburton. More gigs coming up next month. Big push on now to finish the box set over the next two months. Fingers crossed.
Big flag for the Ashley Hutchings 80th birthday bash in Birmingham on the 18th of april. A cast of thousands including reuniting with Cathhy Lesurf for a couple of songs. Going to be a monumental night.

Also, I will be joining my mates Banter for next weekend as they do another of their dance band workshop events. I’ll be there at Halsway Manor in Zummerset on Fri 4th and Sat 5th. See you there.
Check the dates page for a couple of nice shows with Miranda and Sian. The blues trio. Later on in april.
Considering I didn’t attempt to book any, I’ve ended up with no less than six festivals this summer. We’ll update the date sheet next week when we’ve had a couple more confirmations. Expect much more regular comms from now on. Thanks to Nick Gornall for setting all this up and Vicky for keeping track.
Sat 29th March. Dressing room. Ashburton.
